"The loudest purr in a cat was made by 'Smokey' registered at 67.7 decibels (volume of sound) and peaked at 86.3 decibels. This level of sound can be compared to the volume of sound to an idling truck or a washing machine!"
"The tallest domestic cat is 'Trouble' who measured at 48.3 cm or 19 inches tall. That's knee high tall! 'Trouble' was measured at the Silver Cats Cat Show on October 30, 2011."
"The richest cat in the world is 'Blackie' who was bequeathed $12.5 million dollars In May 1988 by Ben Rea a millionaire antique dealer. 'Blackie' was the last surviving of 15 cats that Ben Rea shared his mansion with. He donated the majority of his wealth to three cat charities, with the instruction to look after his beloved pet." I would have named him "Lucky"!
